About This Treasure

We found this Horseshoe Crab washed up on the beaches of Fire Island in June of 2019. This is a smaller version of the original creature. We had this piece designed with 3D computer assistance. The Horseshoe Crab is one of nature’s most amazing creatures. Fossil records of horse shoe crabs extend back over 440 million years. This is the item that inspired the creation of Allegra’s Treasures.
